UpsideDown Entertainment is a family of entertainment companies that have been providing events and marekting in the DMV area since 2005. After gaining the knowledge needed to run a business efficiently, Mark Toler, CEO and founder made his first attempt at creating a local entertainment business. Honing in on his passion and talents as a DJ, Toler’s business began to take flight in the Fredericksburg bar scene, where he resided in 2005. Subsequently, the local network of clients he serviced grew steadily. The small successes of his entertainment company started to prompt Toler to extend the reach of his business to areas on the northern end of Virginia in 2006.  Although it was a risky gamble, the business continued to attract clients from numerous areas of Virginia.

The period of continued success gave Toler the drive and resources he needed to offer additional services to his clients. Thereafter, in 2006, services were augmented by additional advertising, and hosting of events such as bar pong, cornhole, and other entertainment activities. As the attraction of bar pong events grew throughout the northern region of Virginia, Toler found that he needed to take advantage of the new trend. The enthusiastic entrepreneur then made aggressive business plans for expanding to even greater heights. Fueled by the passion for business, Toler tested the market in parts of Maryland in 2013. Though challenged by many worthy competitors, Toler refused to be intimidated by the enormous opportunities at hand. By visiting many popular locations, and providing personalized face-to-face advertising, Toler solidified his business in Maryland.
